Technical issue interrupts Malik Arcticas current voyage 1804

Malik Arctica, which is at the moment at port in Paamiut, has encountered technical problems with her main engines. This means that she cannot continue her present voyage 1804.

The problem is expected to be rectified in the middle of next week, so that she will be ready to start out on voyage 1806 in accordance with the master sailing schedule.

Ivalo Arctica will take over the rest of voyage 1804 for Malik Arctica, sailing from Nuuk to Paamiut to load cargo destined for Narsaq, Qaqortoq and Nanortalik.

We expect Ivalo Arctica to be in Paamiut on Saturday evening. Due to her limited size and capacity, calls in South Greenland will be split up into two or three voyages. 

A complete schedule for arrival times in Narsaq, Qaqortoq and Nanortalik will be published later today.
