In 2013, Royal Arctic Line calls Iceland (Reykjavik) every third week. Calls are made on the routes heading north from Denmark to Greenland, where the quantities for import from Iceland are greater than the demand for exports to Iceland.
The calls Royal Arctic Line makes to Iceland have connections to Eimskip's routes which includes the Faroe Islands, England, Canada and the USA.
Eimskip has connections to Canada and the USA every 14 days and to European destinations every week.
Cargo from Iceland and from Eimskip's other destinations to Greenland are consolidated in Reykjavik and shipped with Royal Arctic Line's vessels.
Miscellaneous charges
Our customers should note that miscellaneous charges (Disbursements) can occur on shipments carried out by Eimskip and that these charges can sometimes exceed sea freight costs.
